www.antoniopasciuti.com is the new site created for my grandfather, a contemporary artist known for his landscape and abstract artworks.
The old website
Grandpa already owned a site built in 2008, but it clearly wasn't doing well anymore as it wasn't aligned with the new trends. The old site was difficult to maintain, was not responsive, did not have a clear navigation, and was not optimized for SEO. In fact, if you searched for Antonio Pasciuti on Google the site did not even appear on the first page!
The new website
The new site I have created follows a very minimalist line, precisely to give greater importance to the artist's artworks. I chose to use dark colors as backgrounds (black for the nav-bar and a dark gray for the background) because grandpa has always preferred to combine black as a background for many of his paintings. Furthermore, the site is also bi-lingual (most of the traffic comes from abroad, so it was the right choice).
Future updates
We will bring new content to the site in the future. A content that is particularly close to my heart and that I can't wait to publish is my grandfather's work on color Chromes and its harmonic processes, a collection of artworks, each created with a different color palette. Each color palette is not random, but is the subject of a scientific study of chroma.
